Railway Electric Device Fish Eye Type HID Headlight for Locomotive

Fish Eye Type HID Headlight is mounted in the outside of locomotive, each for left and right, located in the lower part or upper part, auxiliary lighting for locomotive operating at night. It is suitable for DC24V input locomotive in China and abroad (other voltage is customizable), conform to the requirements of railway locomotive relating regulations.
The light does not contain harmful and volatile matters like asbestos, mercury, heavy metal, etc.. The power consumption of HID light source is low, which is equivalent to 1/4 of halogen tungsten light source (previous is 200W, now is 50W), while the brightness and life is 2~3 times of halogen tungsten light source. It does not have light pollution and interference with outside, EMC conforms to relevant requirements. It is the environment friendly and energy saving product.

Notes for light mounting and use
1. The light shall be mounted in box with good ventilation, heat exchange, and dust proof, be careful of easy damage components such as front glass and ballast. The lower part of light box shall reserve drain holes as per drawing, to avoid electric conduction caused by water going into light.
2. Before power on, shall ensure the bulb AMP connector is well connected with ballast, to avoid burning the contact because of high voltage.
3. Pistol drill is not allowed to use for the mounting of bottom plate fixing bolts, to avoid thread slipping for long time usage.
4. Please don’t divide the connecting cable between bulb and ballast, check parameters like voltage and current with power on, transient high voltage may damage measuring instruments like universal meter. Replacing the bulb shall be done after it is cooled, be careful of its glass tube.
5. Before using, the pitching angle shall be adjusted to get better irradiating effect.
6. Please don’t confuse the positive pole of strong and weak light.
7. Please don’t power on the light without load (bulb), to avoid high voltage to damage the lamp holder contact and electric leakage burning.
